I’m Monique, a product design lead based in Boston, Ma.
My name is Monique and I am a seasoned UX practitioner with 8+ years of experience working on and leading large-scale, complex, and ambiguous projects across multiple teams.
At HubSpot in Cambridge, MA, I am the product design lead for the Marketing Orchestration UX team, which is focused on providing a seamless campaign creation and management experience for our Marketing Hub Customers. My previous professional roles include working for Wayfair, crafting delightful experiences for the Wayfair app.
I grew up in a military family and lived in two countries and 6 states before I was 21 years old. Owing to my diverse upbringing, I embrace all cultures and try to bring my experiences to the designs I create and to the way I manage my direct reports. When I am not working on customer problems, I enjoy exploring new places, spending time with friends, running, curling up with a good book, or spending time with my family.

As a Senior Product Designer 1 at HubSpot, I was responsible for bringing the Customer Portal experience from 0-1.
Projects: Customer Portal, Collaboration sidebar
I’ve been responsible for HubSpot’s Live chat widget and chat campaign tool, chatflows. My main priority is to advocate for our Customer’s customers by making sure our chat widget follows industry best practices and is accessible for all website visitors to interact with. During my time at HubSpot, I’ve championed several cross-team and cross-products to bring table stakes features like forms, feedback, and search into the chat widget. Outside of my responsibilities, I’ve also contributed to the UX org by creating documentation to help our large design team design for Localization and Internationalization.

As a Product Design Lead, I am responsible for managing 2 direct UX design reports within the Marketing Orchestration group in HubSpot. I have been leading the long-term vision and strategy setting for the product group and the tools we own, including Marketing Campaigns, the Collaboration sidebar, Marketing Home, and our Marketing Platform.
Projects: Campaigns Creation and Management vision, Upmarket Journey Map, Crafting Product Principles
At Wayfair, I was responsible for expanding our App offering to Android and spreading it to Wayfair’s sister companies (Joss & Main, All Modern, Birch Lane). I also worked on implementing several app-only1 features including View in Room, Messaging, and Wayfair registry.
